New Entrant LeanIX Achieves A “Strong Performer” Status in Latest Industry Analyst Research Report

New report identifies top EAM industry tools and evaluates for operational and strategic management

Bonn / Boston - March 6, 2019 - LeanIX, the leading Software-as-a-Service solutions for Enterprise Architecture (EA) Management, today announced it has achieved a "Strong Performer" status in the latest The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Architecture Management Suites, Q1 2019 Report.

Forrester used a comprehensive 35-criteria evaluation to review market presence, current offering, and strategy of 12 Enterprise Architecture Management Suites. Additionally, Forrester took into account customer feedback and analyst experiences of the vendors reviewed.

“LeanIX has always believed that its unique approach to Enterprise Architecture offers real benefit over traditional modeling-based tooling. Today, we believe that our efforts, and those of our customers are now finally being recognized by the analyst community,” said Andre Christ, CEO and co-founder of LeanIX. “The need to provide better support for business outcomes and deliver actionable insights to business leaders is crucial for Enterprise Architects wishing to stay relevant in an ever-changing world, and this is where LeanIX excels. By focusing on the ‘Management’ in EAM, we help architects elevate their thinking to where they can make the biggest difference.”

Forrester states that the LeanIX product will meet the needs of most EA professionals, and noted that LeanIX performs very strongly in the areas of both performance management and technology asset management. Clients indicated that LeanIX’s  offering improves their EA report capabilities and cite its short responses times to inquiries and support calls.

“As previous EA use cases become commoditized, improved technology asset management, strategic management, and organization design capabilities dictate which providers will lead the pack,” wrote Gordon Barnett, principal analyst at Forrester in the report. “Vendors that can provide strong strategic performance management, technology asset performance, and people architecture modeling position themselves to successfully enable their customers’ digital and customer-led transformations.”

Beyond product, the LeanIX pricing model, makes levels of collaboration within and across IT organisations more affordable than ever before, gone is the ever-escalating seat pricing model used by traditional EA Tool vendors. Instead, every edition of LeanIX comes with unlimited users, ensuring that everyone in the organisation can have access.  With LeanIX your pricing scales according to the complexity of your architecture, for many clients this can mean savings of 50 percent or more compared to traditional pricing models.

LeanIX’s inclusion in the Forrester Wave report comes on the heels of a year of explosive growth and recognition. In addition to doubling its customer base and achieving more than 100 percent growth globally, U.S. operations now account for more than 25 percent of LeanIX’s revenue. The company was also recently listed in the Forrester Now Tech: Enterprise Architecture Management Suites, Q4 2018 report. LeanIX was also named 10th on the Deloitte 2018 Technology Fast 50 and closed a $30 million Series C funding round, led by Insight Venture Partners in December 2018.
