What’s included in the Academic Edition?

The SAP LeanIX Academic Edition offers access to our Enterprise Architecture Management product with the Application Portfolio Management, the Technology & Risk Management and the Business Transformation Management module. Note that the Academic Edition can only be requested by lecturers who can then provide access to individual students.

What does it cost?

Nothing! The academic edition is available free of charge for teaching purposes.

How do I register?

The “Register” button will lead you to a new page where you are asked to provide your information. Afterwards, you will need to sign the contract. Make sure to fill out all required fields. The whole process takes place online.

What are the limitations?

There is a quota of 150 applications, and our integrations are not included. Moreover, the contract term is set to one year, but this can always be renewed. Most importantly, students can only be invited to the tool by a lecturer.

Will demo data be available to us?

Yes! If there is the need for demo data, it is something that we can provide. However, it is also possible to start without demo data and to populate the workspace with your own data.

What happens after registration?

After the registration, you will receive the countersigned contract as soon as possible. Then, a SAP LeanIX team member will reach out to you to discuss further details with you. This might take a few work days, but don’t worry, we will get back to you.
