I’m Guido and I work as an Engineering Manager at LeanIX.
I started in November 2017.
I like LeanIX because we’re building a product that has an impact on people: It reduces the amount of tedious manual work they have to do and helps them to do their jobs better.
I also like the company culture, which is open, friendly, transparent, collaborative and focused on things that matter.
Working in a team where everyone is motivated and always willing to improve – by learning something new, teaching others, optimizing the way we work and so on.
I often enjoy the beautiful nature in and around Bonn, like the Rheinaue, Siebengebirge or Ahrtal.
I’m not sure. I think I already got the best job for me. :) Also, everyone else does such a good job, I couldn’t do it as good as they do.
During an ideal workday, I work on a new feature, bugfix or refactoring with little interruptions. When things get tricky, I discuss them with my colleagues, and when I’m done, I create a pull request for them to review what I did. Of course, I also help out my colleagues and review their work as needed.
On the sofa in meeting room Stockholm. It’s very cozy and the best place for code reviews or technical discussions.
A big lasagna.
